12-month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

What's Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship under normal use
  • Battery performance issues (below specified capacity)
  • Hardware malfunctions during normal operation
  • Sensor accuracy issues beyond normal tolerances

Warranty Period

12 months from purchase date

Warranty coverage begins from the date of purchase and applies to the original purchaser only.

  • • Proof of purchase required for warranty claims
  • • Warranty is non-transferable
  • • Valid for Australian purchases only

Warranty Exclusions

Conditions and damages not covered under warranty

Normal Wear & Tear

  • Scratches, scuffs, or cosmetic damage from normal use
  • Band wear, stretching, or discoloration
  • Battery capacity reduction due to normal aging
  • Fading or discoloration from UV exposure

Misuse & Damage

  • Impact damage from drops or collisions
  • Water damage beyond stated IP ratings
  • Damage from extreme temperatures or chemicals
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

Important Water Resistance Note

Water damage beyond the stated IP ratings is not covered under warranty:

Forge K3 Ring (IP68/5ATM)

  • • Suitable for showering and swimming
  • • Not suitable for diving or sauna use
  • • Avoid high-pressure water jets

Forge Genesis Watch (IP69K/IP68)

  • • Resistant to high-pressure water jets
  • • Avoid hot water and sauna environments
  • • Not suitable for deep water diving

Warranty Remedies

How we resolve warranty issues at our discretion

Repair

We'll repair the defective product using genuine parts and restore it to working condition.

Replace

If repair isn't feasible, we'll provide a replacement unit of the same model and specifications.

Refund

In cases where repair or replacement isn't possible, we may offer a full or partial refund.

Remedy Selection

The choice of remedy (repair, replace, or refund) is at Forge Technologies' sole discretion based on the nature of the defect, product availability, and cost considerations. We aim to provide the most appropriate solution for each warranty claim.

Consumer Guarantees

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are in addition to our warranty and cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
